About the Work Live

Every year new students arrive at Kingston University with great hopes. To enhance their knowledges of what the University can offer they can attend short events on a specfic day. To help student ‘build their schedule’ for this day I developed an event system, which allows the student to choose their preference event and costumise their welcome day. Staff could setup and keep and eye on attendance for each individual event for all campuses for two specific welcome event days.

Nice touch

Bulk database input via a specially detailed csv file proved very popular by admin staff as it meant less mistakes, less data entry and more smiles.

Accessible to:

Everyone. This wasn't limited to their University ID; uncertainly if they could remember it, meant they didn't want any barrier stopping them.
Admin area is protected by University Access Manager and access restricted by list of KU ID in the database.
