About the Work Live
Building upon previous experience from other events systems; I initially build this system for the HR department while their new HR system would be in place. It got rather popular and it was later expanded to allow other teams to use the system to help them organise their events. The backend is restricted to the team(s) the admin people belong to. The system should have been decommisioned once the new HR system was in place; however a silent revolt meant we kept it going and it is still in use.
Nice touch
The options to send generic event reminder emails to participants proved a great timesaver for organisors.
Accessible to:
Everyone within the University.
Admin area is protected by University Access Manager and access restricted by list of KU ID in the database.
